Good Luck Janine!

So, I recently found out that my hair dresser, Janine, is moving!! I called her today to see if she could fit me in for a bang trim some time this week, and I was informed that her last day is Friday! How terrible is that! She is by far the world's greatest hair dresser and the sweetest person you'll ever meet. Luckily she's only moving less than an hour away, so I'll still be able to get my hair done by her. Yay!

I decided to make her a cake for tomorrow, as she managed to fit me in for my trim and I figured she'll probably have a bunch of desserts and what not on Friday. The cake is fudge marble with chocolate icing covered in white fondant. Everything is edible. The straightener is entirely made of fondant, as well as the round brush. The bristles in the round brush are tiny pieces of dry spaghetti though. I was going to also include a pair of scissors and a comb, but I quickly ran out of space!

Here's a side view of the cake. The border and the message are also fondant. The message reads "GOOD LUCK JANINE!" I'm so excited to give this cake to her tomorrow! I hope she likes it. I absolutely LOVE my Chi straightener! I think it's super cute and probably my favorite fondant creation. Thanks for looking!
