Happy Mother's Day Grandma!

This was the cake I (with the help of my friend Justine) made for my Grandma for Mother's Day. The flower pot is a cupcake covered in fondant and the "soil" is actually left over cake crumbs!

We worked on this cake for so long, I can't even believe it. It was a lot of fun (until the last hour or so!) and I'm definitely going to get Justine to help me out with my next cake! She had so many good ideas and was really easy to work with. This works out great too because now my boyfriend doesn't have to be forced into helping me out, and it gives Justine and I something to do!

My favorite part of this cake is definitely the flower pot. My Grandma even saved it!The lady bug is pretty cute too! The fence was supposed to have two posts in the middle, but at 11:00 we decided one was enough!
